Youtube style guide

If you’re working in Premiere Pro, export your video with the following settings:

Codec: H.264

Adobe Premiere preset: YouTube 1080p

YouTube videos should be 1920×1080.

Here’s what a title slide looks like:

Download the University logo it uses

The font in the bottom right is 72pt Myriad Pro Bold for the speaker’s name, and 60pt Myriad Pro Regular for the title of the talk and the date. If the talk has a long title, it might be worth changing the size of the font to keep it on one line.

Here’s what a YouTube listing looks like:

In keeping with the University web style guide, avoid using “Prof XYZ” or “Dr. XYZ”.

Instead:

  • Professor XYZ
  • Dr XYZ
